Passes Carving Warm up
| Well, finally I am back to what I think RIDING is, got what I mean? :) On Saturday, May 2nd, I left late, like 2:30pm not really knowing which route I could take. I had to be home by 6:30pm, so I couldn't really go for something that big. So I decided to do it like this: Riding up to Feltre, taking a little longer way, the SP1 Bis, a fast part with no traffic and wide long fast corners. I alway prefer this because the other side of the river is always full of vehicles, coppers and it isn't as fast as I like :-) In Feltre I switched to face the 1st little pass: Croce D'Aune. Once I was down from it, I twisted the throttle leading to Rolle Pass, just to get close to 2000mt and see... well.. some snow. Cannot believe how many BMW GS & similar I saw around. Are they giving them away for free? :-) Surely I didn't see anything like my bike :-) The way up the Rolle is always ballistic. I love it. So fast. Down north side and turn right for the Valles. Here we got another one I LOVE. The southern side is super, and I think my bike loves that too ;-) The troubles are on the north side, descending toward Falcade as the bumps are really frequent, there are so many that instead of fixing they put a road sign telling you to take care ;) Once down, rather than taking the usual San Pellegrino to lead me toward the northern dolomitis, I switched toward Agordo (and I had the chance to see live a snow slide up in higher peaks... absolutely amazing, breathtaking!) to lead back on to the Feltre-Rolle road, in Fiera di Primiero, crossing the nice Forcella Aurine and Passo Cereda. These are smaller passes, but the fun is all there, corners a go-go and really no traffic at all. When I was back to Fiera di Primiero I rode south, but I wasn't happy enough, so I took a lille detour that pointed me up to Passo Gobbera. Up there I could have continued toward Passo Brocon and end down in valley of Valsuana, but time was running short, so I descended back down on SS50 (in a new fast tunnel) to ride south to Feltre and then way back home. 277km, 6 passes, a little more than a full tank of fuel, Two Lamborghini seen :-) | E così, sabato 2 maggio sono partito tardi, intorno alle 14:30, non proprio sicuro di che giro avrei fatto.

May 1st (ride) 2009 - 1mo Giro / Maggio/ 2009
| Well, finally I did it. 1st ride of the year. I admit, not really a RIDE as I am used to, but well, weather ain't been good, and my time ain't be much... so I did the test ride ride...115km... to check everything's working and to remove some rust of the winter season. 1st knee down also. Now I just wait for new multi passes days... | Ebbene... primo giro dell'anno. |

H2O
Ok, bike is insured, cleaned, service, filled, whatever. But it rains. It never stops. I planned a ride the past saturday and all I could get is one our out on the mountainbike (offroad, mud). Where the fuck has spring gone??????????????? |

Gone multilanguage / Verso il multilingua
I just tried to go multilanguage.... to add my own one at least for the followers of my country. Blogger doesn't support it apparently. So I try this.... But I am not sure about yet. Any tips? Avete qualche suggerimento? |

Almost ready / Quasi Pronto
| So far my bike is 99% ready. new chain, new sprockets, valve checked, carburettors balanced, whatever is done. only work left is putting fairings back on.... even cuz they are around my garage, and won' t let me move or get the alfa and the maserati out. 1st multi passes ride is planned for 25th April. Where? I don't know. I expect some 350km or about, just to warm up..... Dove? Non so. 'notte |

Men at work
So, saturday morning I woke up early, and among the other 1000 things I had to do I managed to service my bike.
Fresh Motul 300V 15W50, 4 new CR9E NGK sparkplugs, brand new oil filter and K&N cleaning & oiling.
Test rode the bike (some 8km) and even popped 1st wheelie of the season (on a motor bike... on the mountain bike I lost count...)
Afterward I loaded the bike onto the van and drove it to my friend's workshop.
Left the bike there for the following:
- carburettors alignment
- valves adjustment checkup
- brand new chain+sprockets
- whatever
I plan to get on the serious riding by mid april. If season will be as warm as it's promising to be, you better follow this blog, because there will be plenty to post about.
stay tuned, rev up
