100% Unstoppable

We simply love to ride few hundreds KM, to meet. And Piss. Read here.
But sometimes that isn't so easy. There are greater events preventing us to meet and piss together.
But I am not the one you can stop. You need to fight hard. And be sure I will fight back harder. So, this time, not even a massive landslide prevented us from meeting, despite it pretty much fucked up the piss.
But let's see what happened.

I hopped on the old 937 and pointed north. Passed Trento, did the epic Monte Bondone, some back roads to Tione, north to Passo Carlo Magno and finally attacking Tonale. Too many tourists, and I needed a while before finding a free road and enjoy the great Tonale's corners. After Tonale, I did the great Gavia, the place I wanna be buried whenever it's my time.
The original plan was to meet there. And Piss. He wasn't there and I couldn't resist so I abused of Gavia's toilette, which wasn't easy considering I was on full leathers... Nevermind. I waited for a while and decided to hook my friend down Gavia. Later I got a text and I had to climb Stelvio too.

But this simply wasn't possible!!!!

A massive landslide, that happened few days before, simply blocked the southern side of the pass, so right at the beginning, still in town, there was a barrier preventing people to go ahead. A pack of other riders were there wondering what to do (the alternative was a 100+ km ride, across Switzerland....). I rode ahead. Another barrier, which I ignored, with more riders standing there wondering where this idiot was supposed to go. Then another barrier, with even more riders standing there, and me going ahead, arriving at the point where the slide happened.
So I talked with two cool workers, busy in removing the amount of rocks from the road. They told me there's an alternative. And pointed me where to go and explained how to get there. Meanwhile a MTB rider arrived and they simply told him to walk across the slide and continue! So damn cool!
So I rode back and met the last pack of riders I saw before. They stop me and I explain what I've been told. A dude on a MV Agusta Brutale decides to follow me. Together we try to locate the road workers suggested me, and after a while we realized it was a 2km long OFF ROAD PATH. Cool, we were on two street/sport bikes with street/sport tires. But we didn't care. Asked permission to go ahead, with the dude warning us there would be a barrier bar up there and that he couldn't know if they would let us go ahead. We decide to try and after some dirt riding on the 937 (and the MV!) we made it up there. Barrier closed. It was the 3 of us: me, the MV and a dude on a 50cc scooter, a local one. He talks to the guardian and gains the permission. Gate opens and off we ride, exiting right at the other slide limit, after a tunnel (blocked as well).
There I faced a couple of km with dirt and several rocks on the road. I took it easy. But then the road was clear, with very very few cyclist panting their way to the top. There were no other vehicles. No trucks, no cars, no bikes. NOBODY.
It took me a while to realize -I couldn't believe- what was happening, to connect the dots and really being sure that me, the MV (ahead) and the scoot (behind) were the sole vehicles running the southern side of Stelvio!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEAN???

Pure blast. Pure madness. Pure speed. I never rode that road in these unique conditions. It's hard to understand how it could be, unless you are used to hill climb street races, with a closed great road all there for you to ride using all your skill and the maximum performance! Without doubt the best Stelvio climb I EVER had (and I've had few, you can be sure).
On the top my friend from the north was there, enjoying the view of me carving those corners with engine constantly on the above 7K rpm territory.

The MV guy was there before the upper battier, and he opened it when I arrived to let me go. I did the same for him, so we both where there, on top, using the closed road and both amazed for the blast we just had!

So me and my friend met. I pissed (me!). We did the rest of Stelvio, down the north side, found a place to eat, continued ride till we separated.
In the end I clocked 630km. And I am this close to have a brand new bike, with 0km on the clocks!

SAPETE COSA VOGLIA DIRE????

Una cosa fuori di testa. Pazzesco.
