Lately I went around Exchange Exhibitions to score parts for my Benelli 49 America. I needed something, I am also looking for anything I will need one day. So I finally found someboy rebuilding the sheath for the odometer cable I had already found... which was identical to the original on both sides but a little longer, hence not compatible with the original sheath (wich was also a little worn out). Then I found some benelli branded rubber for the gearbox and the kickstart levers... the ones I had were really worn out. Dulcis in fundo, I bought a vintage look leather bag that fits perferctly on the metal luggage rack on the back of the bike! All the details that matter! Top result and had a lot of fun! |
Ultimamente ho girato per le fiere di scambio alla ricerca di ricambi per la mia Benelli 49 America. Avevo bisogno di qualcosa, ma sto anche cercando tutto ciò che potrebbe servirmi un giorno. Alla fine ho trovato qualcuno che poteva ricostruirmi la guaina per il cavo del contachilometri, che avevo già trovato, anche se identico all'originale su entrambi i lati, ma leggermente più lungo, quindi non compatibile con la guaina originale (che era anche un po' consumata). Poi ho trovato della gomma con il marchio Benelli per la leva del cambio e la leva di avviamento... quelle che avevo erano davvero consumate. Dulcis in fundo, ho comprato una borsa in pelle dal look vintage che si adatta perfettamente al portapacchi metallico sul retro della moto! Tutti dettagli che... contano! Ottimo risultato e mi sono divertito un sacco! |
