Autumn is blossoming

All of a sudden I realize we already reached October! Where are the summer months gone? Why didn't I clocked thousands of kilometer as usual? Why my installed M9RR aren't 100% worn out already, and why the new set awaiting in my garage hasn't been mounted yet?
Strange existential questions. Cannot really answer. What I know is about the weather... and the weather is shining bright! It's warm (some +10°C at over 2000mt under the sun), and a rain free day like yesterday simply couldn't be spent working! So... I waved everyone and everything good bye, hopped on the mighty 937 and off I roared, toward the mountains, deciding which route and which passes I should attack... while I was approaching the heights.
The first pass I did is Duran. Not a high one, but definitely a funny one (like Staulanza, the one that follows) with a wonderful landscape, with that road going through the woods showing me those beautiful range of colors only blossoming Autumn can offer!

A very good ride: some 350km, across 8 Dolomite passes, in about 6 hours... to find out I must be really fit lately, as I wasn't tired at all after the ride, and that numbness of the right hand I was experiencing lately is completely GONE!
I rode without 'racing'. Quick pace, but not extreme. Traffic? Nothing up in the mountains. Many bikes, but not even close to the typical chaos of the summertime days. Dry roads, clean... not a single car tried to kill me... really a pleasant ride!
Many valleys, several passes, so many landscapes. That's it. That's the essence, and that's what is really blossoming every time... in any season!

Tutto ad un tratto mi sono accorto che è già ottobre. Dove diavolo sono finiti i mesi estivi? Perché non ho percorso migliaia di chilometri come sempre? Perché le mi M9RR non sono completamente consumate e perché quelle nuove che ho in garage non sono state ancora montate?
Sono tutte strane domande esistenziali alle quali non posso davvero rispondere. Quello che invece so ha a che fare con il meteo... e il meteo è luminoso, brillante! Fa caldo (+10°C anche sopra i 2000mt sotto il sole), e un giorno senza piogge in vista come ieri non può assolutamente essere sprecato lavorando! Pertanto ho salutato tutti e tutto, sono saltato in sella della mitica 937, ho sgassato verso le montagne decidendo quale percorso e quali passi attaccare... proprio mentre mi avvicinavo alle alture.
Il primo passo è stato il Duran. Non uno alto, ma sicuramente uno divertente (come lo Staulanza che segue) con un bellissimo panorama, con quella strada che va attraverso i boschi mettendo in mostra quel favoloso range di colori che solo un Autunno che sta sbocciando può offrire!

Un bel giro: circa 350km, attraverso 8 passi dolomitici, in circa 6 ore... per scoprire che ultimamente devo essere davvero in forma, in quanto dopo il giro non ero assolutamente stanco e quel torpore della mano destra che mi disturbava recentemente... è completamente SCOMPARSO!
Un giro senza spingere. Buon ritmo ma non estremo. Traffico? Nessuno in montagna. Molte moto, ma manco lontanamente paragonabile al caso tipico dei giorni estivi. Strade asciutte, pulite... nessuna automobile ha cercato di uccidermi... davvero un bel giretto!
Molte valli, diversi passi, così tanti panorami. Sta tutto in questo. Questa è l'essenza, e questo è ciò che sboccia ogni volta... in qualsiasi stagione!
