A new pusher (Covid19 Tale #1)

The world is moving slowly lately. People of the planet must stay at home. I see someone is going crazy, someone doesn't know what to do in their forced free time. Sorry for them... I love to stay by myself, because I feel great to be with myself...I got tons of things to do... and I love spending time with my beloved ones... because they are my life. Staying at home and not being able to ride is also an issue... but the season has not really started yet... so I spend my time taking care of my other beloved one. The mighty 937!

I did a massive service during the winter, I even cleaned her deeply (now it shines)... the last thing to do was putting new tires.

And here it's where the story begins.
First of all it's a matter of choosing what I need. Talking around with people such as the mighty Edo (of moto.it), discussing how I ride and what I do... my choice finally turned out to be the new Metzeler M9RR.
So I stopped by the workshop, talked to my mech, my friend, had a price, ordered. That was end of February. Just few days before the explosion of the mess we're all suffering now. To make the story short, his supplier couldn't supply. And the information given were kinda strange, not clear. There wasn't any "you get them in 10 days" or so. It was always a "tomorrow", and the tomorrow used to became the day after. Everyday. So me and the mech got tired of this attitude and started searching for a new supplier. Which is now my new PUSHER. After all bike is an addiction, it's stronger than any smack, and it is the shit you don't want, don't need and I don't suggest to quit. Fuck rehab. My rehab is sticking to the addiction till my last day on Earth!! The new pusher is www.xtyre.it. The bloke not only answered me on a Sunday. Not only turned out to be kind and up for a chat. Not only found my tires for even a lower price than what my mech would pay for himself. The pusher became a real smuggler when he even found another set of tires for my mech who needed it for another customer! So we turned everything around: it's not my mech providing the tires he then installs on my wheels... it's me providing him tires I got from the pusher... so I can get them installed and the mech can satisfy other customers!

And given my rock & metal attitude, my love for the dirt and the dirty tales... this dude acted like a real pusher, providing me the bang I need when I need it!

So now my Covid19 quarantine days changed a little: with both wheels off the bike and the baby standing on stands... I am jumping from the Mac reloading the tracking page to the window facing the drive way, to see whether the damn express courier van (be it red, black, yellow or white) shows up to deliver me the much needed stuff to stop this massive cold turkey!
