Gone multilanguage / Verso il multilingua

I just tried to go multilanguage.... to add my own one at least for the followers of my country. Blogger doesn't support it apparently. So I try this.... But I am not sure about yet.

Any tips?

Avete qualche suggerimento?

Almost ready / Quasi Pronto

So far my bike is 99% ready.
new chain, new sprockets, valve checked, carburettors balanced, whatever is done.
only work left is putting fairings back on.... even cuz they are around my garage, and won' t let me move or get the alfa and the maserati out.

1st multi passes ride is planned for 25th April.

Where?
I don't know.
I expect some 350km or about, just to warm up.....

I'll keep u uptodate.

good night
Bene, la mia moto è pronta al 99%.
Nuova catena, corona, pignone, valvole contollate, carbutatori bilanciati, tutto fatto. Mi manca solo metterci le carene ed i fianchetti.... anche perchè stanno in giro per il garage e mi rompono le balle... no posso tirare fuori ne la maserati ne l'alfa.

Il primo giro multi passo penso di farlo il 25 Aprile.

Dove?
Non so.
Penso sarà una cosetta da 350km o giù di lì, tanto per riscaldarmi.....

Vi terrò aggiornati.

Men at work

So, saturday morning I woke up early, and among the other 1000 things I had to do I managed to service my bike.
Fresh Motul 300V 15W50, 4 new CR9E NGK sparkplugs, brand new oil filter and K&N cleaning & oiling.
Test rode the bike (some 8km) and even popped 1st wheelie of the season (on a motor bike... on the mountain bike I lost count...)

Afterward I loaded the bike onto the van and drove it to my friend's workshop.
Left the bike there for the following:
  1. carburettors alignment
  2. valves adjustment checkup
  3. brand new chain+sprockets
  4. whatever
I plan to get on the serious riding by mid april. If season will be as warm as it's promising to be, you better follow this blog, because there will be plenty to post about.

stay tuned, rev up

Step ahead & CdT 2009 day

Ordered OIL & whatever I need to service the old lady.
Agreed with workshop for a new chain + set of sprockets.

And we got a date (which can change still, but won't be much earlier nor much after this):

June 23rd 2009

Route will be basically 2008 one, with few changes. Details in next weeks.

Wake up call

Been a WARM weekend.

I went riding my mountain bike on saturday. Mostly dirt riding.

Weekly forecast is positive.

Time to wake up. Time to order parts I need and get the bike ready for the season....

How much for a new chain & sprockets set ? :-)

Back on two wheels...

...but w/o engine.

Took the bicycle out of the barn and went for a nice ride in the sun yesterday.
It was 2 weeks I didn't do any sport due to an elbow trouble.... wow... I felt DEAD afterwards.
We start seeing motorcycles around. I don't even dare to start mine... too much to do yet... and too cold to ride WHERE I want.
Another month to go I believe.
Doesn't matter.
The bicycle is cheaper for now :)

Alarm clock, wake up before it's too late

Actually we're running fast toward mid february.

Saw temperatures up to +12°C

Wow.

I must start doing something to the bike before it's too late. Don't want to waste riding time in fixing it ...better doing it BEFORE it's warm & dry enough to ride.

Dry. well, that's the key now. It rains everyday ... maybe that's the reason I am still in winter mode :-)

WWC: let's see if this week I can do some pics for the WWC.
The words for next week are: "G" and "On This Day"

so long...
